The Family Chantel: Chantel Reveals Pedro’s Secret Plan For Vacation
People following the new season of The Family Chantel are aware that Pedro Jimeno is planning a vacation for himself and his wife, Chantel Everett. In a trailer for an upcoming episode, Pedro’s secret plan for the vacation was revealed.
Fans of the 90 Day Fiancé couple, Pedro and Chantel, have been eagerly waiting for the second season of their spinoff show to begin. The new season of The Family Chantel officially started on October 12. Pedro, Chantel, and their families have already brought the drama to the big screen. In the first episode, Nicole Jimeno, Pedro’s sister, revealed that she has a new boyfriend. Alejandro and Nicole are currently in a long-distance relationship because she lives in Atlanta and he lives in New York. At the same time, Chantel’s graduation from nursing school is coming up and Pedro is planning a trip. Trailers of the second season revealed there would be drama between Pedro and Alejandro, but the tension might be closer than you think.
A preview of an upcoming episode showed Chantel and her mother, Karen, shopping for sweaters because Karen is planning an ugly sweater event. While the mother-daughter duo is shopping, Chantel’s graduation comes up in conversation. Chantel reveals that she recently attended a job interview for a plastic surgery position she hopes to get. She also reveals that she has one more final exam to pass before she can formally graduate.
While ugly sweater shopping, Karen asks, “So what is Pedro planning for your graduation?” Chantel replies, “He told me that he’s going to take me to New York.” Karen pries as to why Pedro would take Chantel to New York. “Nicole is dating a guy in New York and Pedro really wants to go and meet this guy,” Chantel revealed. Karen appears unsure and asks how the trip to New York is a graduation gift. “Um, right,” Chantel stammers in response. “I’ve thought the same thing, but it is a gift.” Later on, Chantel talks directly to the cameras, “This trip is supposed to be my gift for graduation, but then Pedro admitted to me that his mom wants him to go to New York because Nicole is meeting her boyfriend there, and that he wants me to come. This is another example of Pedro putting his mom and sister first, and then trying to include me at the last minute.” Watch the preview below for the full story:
Pedro pulled a fast one on Chantel by telling her that his planned vacation was a graduation gift when it was really for the purpose of meeting Alejandro. Obviously, Chantel didn’t want her mother to know she was upset, but she showed her true feelings about the incident in the confession scene. Despite how she feels, it looks like Chantel is okay with going to New York for her graduation. Perhaps the way she sees it, is she’s making a sacrifice for their family, even on her celebration day. Upcoming episodes of The Family Chantel will reveal more details regarding their New York trip.
