Colt Johnson may have called his 90 Day Fiancé relationship with Jess Caroline a summer fling, but the Brazilian beauty found true love with Brian Hanvey. The TLC star surprised everyone with the happy news on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Tell-All, and soon enough shared stunning pictures of her and Brian’s wedding on Instagram. But the singer/producer, with his unique connection to Colt’s other ex-Larissa Lima, has never shied away from social media PDA. When Brian Hanvey shot a steamy video for his song with Larissa and her boyfriend Eric Nichols, little did he know that a year later, he’d be married to her 90 Day Fiancé co-star Jess. The Brazilian women who’d bonded over getting betrayed by Colt and his mother Debbie became besties in no time. And as Larissa had moved on with Eric after her rocky relationship with Colt, so did Jess. Larissa and her common friend Carmen Nys introduced Jess to Brian, who was a vegetarian and shared her music taste. And instead of moping around and feeling cheated by Colt because of his lewd DM cheating scandal, Jess jumped right into her fairy-tale romance with Brian. Debbie’s taunts about Jess being green card hungry seem to be futile, as the 90 Day Fiancé celeb has found a beau who’s a keeper, unlike her son. Jess and Brian’s Instagram feeds tell the cutest romantic tale, although it may have just begun.
TLC’s social media ban stops many 90 Day Fiancé stars from sharing personal updates on Instagram. But since Brian wasn’t really a cast member, he got away by sharing this adorable selfie with Jess he’s captioned, “Meu amor” on May 25.
The Michigan native wished his new girlfriend a happy Brazilian Valentines Day on June 12 when he posted this picture taken on a trip to Croton-on-Hudson, New York. Brian showed the efforts he was taking to be with Jess, unlike her ex, by writing, “I just learned today is ‘Dia Dos Namorados’ in Brazil” and even got his amor to wish back with “meu perfeito” in the comments.
By August 27, the 90 Day Fiancé star was married to Brian, and eagle-eyed fans spotted a picture of him with a ring on his profile. Jess seems to have taken the picture of Brian while road-tripping in Utah, as he shields his eyes against the sun, shining bright just like their future.
Right after her big 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Tell-All revelation, Jess shared her wedding photos with her well-wishing followers. “Couldn’t have hoped to meet someone like you in my wildest dreams. So happy I’m spending the rest of my days with you,” typed the blushing TLC bride in the Instagram caption.
Brian too, shared sweet matrimony memories and revealed the date of their wedding, 1 August with this post where he called Jess the girl of his dreams. “I’m so happy I don’t have to keep this a secret anymore,” wrote Brian, who’d proposed to the au pair after she’d lost her Chicago job, and was being forced to return home.
Soon enough, Brian made another declaration of his love for Jess by releasing a song he’d especially penned for her. Brian also made Jess’ bouquet the cover art for his first-ever acoustic track, titled, "Love Me Til You’re Old."
The popular couple now looks forward to beautiful new beginnings in Las Vegas, Nevada. Incidentally, Colt too is from Las Vegas, but that doesn’t seem to be a bother for Jess, who’s clearly moved on for good from her problematic 90 Day Fiancé life and times.
